Garbage and Recycling: The Borough annually mails to its residents a Garbage and Recycling Newsletter which outlines the weekly curbside collections of garabage and recyclables. The Borough's Road Department, between the months of October and December, as the weather permits, provides curbside leaf collection in accordance with Borough regulations. Additionally, between the months of January and September the Borough's Road Department provides curbside pickup of "trash" or large items, which may be too large for the resident to bring to the Recycling Center. This service is provided by appointment only. Also, by appointment only, the Borough will provide branch pick up between the months of April and September. Electric and Water Departments: The Borough is one of only nine municipalities in the state of New Jersey to own and operate utilities which supply both water and electricity to its residents. The Borough has owned and operated two self-sustaining utilities for over 80 years. Please refer to the link at left for additional information.
