Please Note: Resident registration packets are scheduled to be mailed in mid-April. Registration packets for non-residents will be available at Park Ridge Borough Hall, beginning May 1, 2014 or at the pool located at 123 Colony Avenue weekends, beginning May 3, 2014 from noon to 3PM.

2014 Park Ridge Municipal Pool Rules & Regulations




    May 24, 25, 26 - Noon to 6:00 p.m.

    May 31, June 1, 7, 8, 14, 15 - Noon to 6:00 p.m.

    June 16 - 20 - Noon to 6:00 p.m.


    June 21 through August 15:

    Monday through Friday - Swimming instructions from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

         and open for swimming from 12:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or at manager's discretion.

    August 16 through Labor Day and all Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays - Noon to 8:00 p.m.


The pool may be closed for maintenance reasons, health conditions, weather or any other reason deemed sufficient by the pool manager.


Swimming instructions: Swimming and diving instructions, water safety programs will be conducted by pool personnel

            Monday - Friday. Schedules will be posted for these activities.

            Adult swim lessons are given Sunday mornings.

            Private lessons for children or adults may be arranged at a rate of $15 per 1/2 hour.


Special Event Nights and Friday Adult Nights and Blue Flag Nights will be posted.


Public Swimming may be restricted during some home swim or dive meets and will be posted.


Adult Volleyball: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Adult lap swimming on Saturdays 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. except when there is a home swim meet.


Adult lap swimming on Sundays 10:00 a.m. to noon.

Adult lap swimming 7:15 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. weekdays 6/23 - 8/1

No children will be admitted on Sundays before 11:30 a.m. except for the special needs class. 


  • Due to a decline in membership and in an effort to keep the rates reasonable, pool membership will be offered to a maximum of 125 non-resident families and a maximum of 50 non-resident individual memberships (age 18 or older) as well as Park Ridge residents and Boro/B.O.E. employees. *Non-Residents must be sponsored by a 2013 Resident Pool member. Sponsors Information must be listed on the reverse side of application form.
  • Family membership: Includes husband, wife and unmarried children under 23 years of age as of September 1 of the current swim year, residing within the same household at least 10 months of the current year, or any parent-without-a-partner having, anyone legal or blood relative residing within a household who has (would have) parental responsibility in the absence of the parent-without-a-partner.
  • Individual membership: 18 years or older.
  • Senior Citizens: Available to permanent residents 65 years of age or older. If married, only persons age 65 or older will qualify for free membership. You must be at least 65 by Labor Day. This applies to Park Ridge residents or Boro/B.O.E. employees only.
  •  Members of the armed forces: Borough residents who are on active duty shall be allowed to swim free provided they present proof they are on active duty.
  • Regular guests: Each family member age 13 or older shall be allowed guest privileges. A guest privilege shall consist of admission to the pool area for one day. Guest privileges will be honored from May 24 through September 1. Conduct of the guest is the responsibility of the sponsoring member. POOL MANAGER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF GUESTS ALLOWED. Guests under 13 must be accompanied by a member.

Registration may be done by mail or in person at the pool.

Sign up:

  • In person: Complete pool application and bring it along with your check PAYABLE TO THE PARK RIDGE MUNICIPAL POOL and PHOTO ID CARDS for your family members to the pool.
  • Note: If you do not bring last year's ID card(s) with you when you register, you will be able to take another ID picture at that time: however, $5 will be charged for each picture taken.

Special Events:

Members may arrange children's birthday parties through the Manager - for 3 hour parties, guests are charged half the day rate. Children's meal plans must be made through the snack bar operator.
