PENDING CASES:

Park Ridge Board of Education - 85 Pascack Road to utilize existing house as the Board offices necessitating a Use variance in an R-20 residential zone. Hearing postponed to August 16, 2011 due to lack of notification. Hearing begun August 16, 2011, continued to September 20, 2011 for board engineer's review of revised plans. Rescheduled by Board to October 18, 2011.  Applicant did not appear.  Hearing resumed November 15, 2011 and carried to January 17, 2012. Revised maps submitted with County changes.  Engineer reviewing. Carried to February 21, 2012 for revised maps.

Charles and Stacy Dellavolpe, 11 Sturms Place for front yard variance to extend existing porch
and stairs across front of existing house. Hearing postponed to December 20th meeting due to lateness of Notification to property owners within 200'.  Hearing held December 20, 2011.  Approval given by voice vote, to be memorialized at the January 17, 2012 meeting.

NEW CASES:  

Kevin Guarderas, 134 Morningside Avenue for Floor Area Ratio variance and soil moving hearing in an R-10 residential zone.  Applicant demolishing existing house and constructing new one. Applicant requested a one month postponement to February 21, 2012.

Please note if you are approved for a variance it is valid until December 31, 2012 due to the Permit Extension Act signed by the Governor in January 2010.  If, for any reason, you do not activate it within that time, you will need to reapply as a new application.
