INTRODUCTION:
Helene V. Fall is Park Ridge Borough's fourth Borough Administrator and its first part-time Administrator.
Mrs. Fall holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in both Political Science and Italian Literature/Language from
Douglass College and a Masters of Public Administration Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. With
more than 24 years of experience in New Jersey municipal government, Mrs. Fall is also a New Jersey
Certified Public Manager as well as a career-long member of the International City/County Management
Association and the New Jersey Municipal Management Association.
Prior to coming to Park Ridge, Mrs. Fall served the communities of Bernards Township as Assistant Township
Administrator, Montvale Borough as Borough Administrator and Teaneck Township as Deputy Municipal
Manager and Municipal Manager.
Mrs. Fall and her husband Frederick reside in Teaneck, New Jersey along with their Shih Tzu, Emily.
The part-time Borough Administrator position was created by the Borough Council by adoption of
Ordinance No. 2009-19 which sets forth the updated responsibilities of the position, revising the original
1976 ordinance which established the Borough Administrator's position.
Mrs. Fall, as the Borough's Chief Administrative Officer, is part of the Administrative Team, which includes
the Borough Clerk, the Chief Financial Officer and the Borough's Director of Operations.
Mrs. Fall's regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. Full-time staff is
