Steve Hopper is a 22 year resident of Park Ridge, and a lifelong resident of the Pascack Valley. Steve and his wife, Ann, both grew up in Montvale and attended Pascack Hills High School. The couple have two children Amanda and Thomas.
Steven currently runs Pratt Contracting Services, a family-owned and operated plumbing, heating, cooling and complete remodeling company that has served the region since 1927. He is a Licensed Master Plumber, and is registered as a Home Improvement Contractor and New Home Builder. Steve is a past President of the Pascack Valley Master Plumbers and is a member of the New Jersey State League of Master Plumbers.
A former fireman for both Park Ridge and Montvale, Steve has also served as Chairman of the Recreation Committee and Field Coordinator. During his tenure he has been instrumental in adding new programs, enhancing existing programs and lowering operating costs and budget.
He also served as a member of the Handicap Housing Committee and the Solid Waste/Recycling Committee. Steve is the past president of the Park Ridge Rotary Club and its charitable foundation. He is also a past officer in the Rotary’s district staff. Steve was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 126 of Montvale.
Steve hopes to bring his experience in serving Park Ridge as a volunteer, his enthusiasm for the borough and its citizens, and desire to make Park Ridge a better place to live!
