Councilmember Terry Maguire

Terry is an active member of our community and has served the Borough in many capacities. Terry has served as a member of the Park Ridge Planning Board and the Technology Committee. Terry has also previously served as a member and Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Terry was re-elected as President of the New Jersey Planning Officials (NJPO) in 2009. NJPO provides training and legislative support for Planning and Zoning officials throughout the state. Terry has also been an active member of the Park Ridge Open Space Committee and the Vision Plan Committee.

Terry holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University , a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunications Management from Polytechnic University and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University . Terry is employed by Verizon Communications where he is responsible for the planning and engineering of Verizon’s new FiOS Video Network including the management of the associated capital construction budget.

Terry and his wife Eileen actively support various community organizations including Park Ridge Athletic Association, Girl Scouts, Park Ridge Elks and the Bergen Irish Association. Terry and Eileen have a daughter Meagan and have resided in Park Ridge for 20 years.

Terry is currently the liaison to Park Ridge Planning Board, Board of Public Utilities, PKRG-TV and the Open Space Committee.
