As of Friday, November 21st, the DPW has finished the third pass of the east side. The loader crew has started a fourth pass on the west side, starting in zone 1. Once the crew completes zone 1, they will continue into zone 2.
In addition to the loader crew, the leaf vacuum crew has also started another pass on the west side main roads. Once they finish the main roads, they will assist the loader crew in the zone where they are working.
Please be advised, due to the Thanksgiving Holiday next week, the DPW will not be working next Thursday and Friday. Next week’s leaf collection update will be sent out next Wednesday.
We expect the volume of leaves to increase over the next few weeks, resulting in longer time to complete each zone. Residents are asked to please be patient during this phase of the operation and understand we are moving as fast as we can to get through each zone.
Please remember that leaves must be placed at the curb for pickup. If they are blocked by cars or behind trees or poles we will not be able to pick them up. In addition, branches cannot be mixed with the leaves.
