On Monday November 10th the DPW leaf loading crew started another pass through the Borough, starting in zone 1. As of Tuesday, the DPW finished leaf collection in zones 1 and 2 and will be working the rest of the week in zones 3, 4 and 5. We further anticipate the loader crew starting next week on the east side.
In addition to the loading crew, the leaf vacuum crew has started another pass on the west side main roads. We anticipate that they will finish the west side main roads this week. Once finished, they will assist the loader crew in the zone where they are working. We further anticipate the leaf vacuum starting on the east side main roads next week.
Please note that we will try to adhere to the above timeline, however, weather and or equipment breakdowns may effect on our operation. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
Please remember that leaves must be placed at the curb for pickup. If they are blocked by cars or behind trees or poles we will not be able to pick them up. In addition, branches cannot be mixed with leaves.
