LARGE POWER SERVICE
This
service is available to customers located on the Borough's distribution lines
desiring electric service for general lighting and/or power service and whose
annual average billing demand is not less than 100 KW.
Alternating
current, 60 cycle, single phase: 120/240 volts, 3 wire; and three phase:
120/240 volts, 4 wire; 240 volts, 3 wire; or 120/208 volts, 4 wire, and where
existing facilities permit, 277/480 volts, 4 wire may be supplied.
Charges are computed and billed on a monthly basis with monthly payments for
service taken.
The
customer’s monthly bill shall be the sum of the demand and energy charges.
Demand Charge:
All
KW.............................................. $15.27/KW
Energy Charge:
All
KWH........................................... $0.11445/KWH
The
Adjustment Clause shall be applied to all KWH supplied under this rate.
The
Minimum Monthly Charge shall be an amount equal to the Demand Charge but shall
be equivalent to not less than twenty-five (25) KW of Demand.
The
Demand shall be determined by recording or indicating meters. When measured by indicating meters the Demand
shall be the highest fifteen (15) minute Demand in kilowatts used during the
month.
Bills
are due and payable when rendered. If
unpaid at the end of twenty-five (25) days, the Board of Public Works reserves
the right to terminate service following suitable written notice
(1) Owners of record of property
within the Borough of Park Ridge shall not be required to pay a deposit. All others shall be required to pay a deposit
based on at least two and a half times the estimated monthly bill. In no case shall a deposit be less than
$1,000.00.
