This
service is available to nonresidential customers located on the Borough's
distribution lines desiring electric service for general lighting and/or power
service and whose annual average billing demand is not more than 100 KW. All
such service shall be taken through one meter.
CHARACTER OF SERVICE
Alternating
current, 60 cycle.
Single phase: 120/240 volts, 3 wire; and three
phase: 120/240 volts, 4 wire; 240 volts, 3 wire; or 120/208 volts, 4 wire and
where existing facilities permit, 277/480 volts, 4 wire may be supplied.
Charges
are computed and billed on a monthly basis with monthly payments for service
taken.
MONTHLY
RATE
The
customer’s monthly bill shall be the sum of the demand and energy charges.
Customer Charge: including first 3 KW demand..... $27.00
Demand Charge:
All KW above 3 KW demand...... $13.32/KWH
Energy Charge: All KWH......................................... $0.11674/KWH
The
Adjustment Clause shall be applied to all KWH supplied under this rate.
The
minimum monthly charge shall be an amount equal to the customer charge but not
less than twenty-seven ($27.00) dollars.
DETERMINATION
OF DEMAND
The
Demand will be determined at the option of the Board of Public Works by
estimate or by test at the time of maximum use or by Demand meter
measurement. When measured by indicating
meters the Demand shall be the highest fifteen (15) minute Demand in kilowatts
used during the month.
Bills
are due and payable when rendered. If
unpaid at the end of twenty-five (25) days, the Board of Public Works reserves
the right to terminate service following suitable written notice.
(1) Owners of record of property
within the Borough of Park Ridge shall not be required to pay a deposit. All others shall be required to pay a deposit
based upon at least two and a half times the estimated monthly bill. In no case shall the deposit be less than
300.00.
